The Transit Inn
Written by Kathryn Rossetter
Directed by Julia LaVerde
Synopsis:
In a decaying Inn with a gorgeous view, three people find themselves trapped in a shared experience; rehashing life, legacy, lack of WiFi, and death. Here we find, Leslie and Nan, sharp witted and alive offering wisdom, humor and support as they navigate their journeys. They are joined by Michael, a paragon of despair. However, seemingly unaware, they’re not living here, not dying here. They’re paused. Each tethered to a hospital bed, breathing through machines, minds adrift in an inexplicable shared coma state. And in this shared subconscious they must choose; move on, remain, or fight for breath. A play about choices, strength, dignity, and hope.
